Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing system requirements and developing a test plan for the project-based on SDLC.
• Interacting with Business Analyst if any clarification needed regarding requirements.
• Writing and executing Test cases and Test Scripts in application life cycle management tools like HP ALM, after reviewing the business requirements and technical specifications.
• Developing and Maintenance of Automation Script using J2SE, Selenium and CRAFT Framework.
• Regression testing using automation suit and Reporting the Results to Team lead. Fixing the existing automation code if any changes need in the code.
• Involved in System testing, cross-platform testing, and cross-browser Testing on web-based Applications.
• Raise Defects in HP ALM and report it to developers by interacting with them.
• Keeping a track of all the Defects Reported and their Status.
• Performing regression testing if any upgrade of software went on backend side to ensure no functionality was broken due to an upgrade.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and interact with team lead to report testing status.
• Interacting with developers and other team members to ensure high quality software & play a key role in the timely delivery of the product.
• Assigning work to my testing team members and ensuring whether the testing process is going smoothly or not.
• Giving Training to new joiners in the testing team about the functionality of the application and what he/she needs to do.
• Interacting with the client on weekly basis to clarify doubts if any.
• Worked on Insurance Domains Related Projects.
